Orchis Morio is a boutique fashion print label producing high end textiles for fashion designers.
Our fabric designs are digitally printed onto synthetic and natural bases, including chiffon, silk and cotton.
Orchis Morio prints are available for retail, wholesale and commercial trade or commissioned for one-off designs. Options for commissions include visual merchandising, retail and interior fit-outs and production backdrops.
Past projects have included a studio install commissioned by Tallulah Jewellery for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and a collaboration with Melbourne based label Mattt; releasing a colourway series for their signature handmade bags.
Starting in 2007, Orchis Morio began as an experimental project printing hand drawings onto fabric bases. Inspired by the composite nature of plant forms and their inherent reproductive nature, the design process evolved from studying botanical forms, collating photographs and exploring printing techniques.
